Our poor Christmas tree is so dry that you can hear needles falling off at random. Most of the needles are hanging on by sheer will and there is a pile of green all the way around the bottom of the tree. (Think Charlie Brown here.) As you can tell by the branch in the foreground of this picture, anything close to where we walk by it every day is pretty bare. But from a distance it's still green, and I'm glad it made it until Christmas.
And next year we will be working on a better watering system for the tree...
