Ryan got signed up to help manage the parking lot at the Stake Center tonight. This is important because our stake has decided to use the parking lot as a fundraiser activity at UK home games. The stake center is but a stone's throw from the stadium; so they are charging to park in the parking lot, and using the money for youth activities. (How Ryan got nominated is a gigantic rant I will save for another blog. Or another time.)
To make lemonade out of lemons, we hired a babysitter and went as a date. We took the DVD player and watched a movie and had hot chocolate (OK that was just me) and movie candy. It was fun to spend a few hours with just the two of us, even if we did have to maintain the parking lot.
