Moment #1
This morning Ryan went fishing with a friend. When Rachael woke up she wanted to know where Daddy was. (This happens almost every morning.) I told her he was fishing.
Rachael: "Oh, is he fishing with his girlfriends?"
I didn't even know he had girlfriends, let alone that he took them fishing.
Moment #2
We decided to take ourselves out to breakfast at Cracker Barrel. Above the fireplace there they have a large mounted deer head. (She's seen these before at Sportsman's Warehouse).
Rachael: "Look Mom! It's a Bambi deer!"
The fact that it was stuffed and mounted on the wall notwithstanding.
