Inexpensive Repairs

A couple of days ago we left Ryan's Honda parked overnight at Lexmark.  Unfortunately that was the night someone broke into most of the cars parked there.  He didn't lose too much - a pair of prescription glasses and a CD case - but the biggest problem was the passenger side window was punched out.  Thankfully he was able to have it repaired the next day.

Babysitting Swap

For the better part of the last two years we have swapped babysitting with our friends the Tippets.  This is probably our last night, since they are preparing to move.  It's been a blissful couple of years!

First Sleepover

Tonight Rachael had a sleepover at her friend Madi's house.  This is the first time she has slept somewhere else that wasn't with a member of the family.  (I was probably a lot more worried than she was!)  Madi just lives down the street, so that was comforting, and the girls had a really great time.  Rachael called at 10:00 pm just to say she was headed to bed.  Yet another bittersweet milestone for Mom...

Photo Tag

Rachael had Madi and Aiden over for a playdate.  Somehow we evolved into a game of photo tag, where I chased them around with the camera.  I have lots of pictures of the backs of heads, or hair flying down the hall, but I finally caught them when they all hid in the bathroom!
